Jesus is The Reason for This Wonderful Season |

1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprovea with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins. One night some 2000+ years ago, a young woman whose name was Mary give birth to the one who was “a rod out of the stem of Jesse”. They named Him Jesus. He lived a perfect life and then allowed Himself to be taken to a cruel cross where He was crucified. He died and was buried. After 3 days He was raised from the dead and over the next 40 days taught His disciples, and was witnessed by over 500 people. The Book that told of His first appearing, the Holy Bible, records the words of the prophets concerning His next appearance. He will return to receive those people who have confessed their sin and have placed their faith in Him. One day, we will celebrate Christmas with Christ in heaven. Until then we will |

You are invited to attend our Services which are Sundays with Sunday School at 9:30 and Morning Worship at 10:30am. Sunday Evening Service is at 7:00pm and we offer something for all age groups. |
